During my time living in Southeast Asia, I found myself caught between stillness and movement—between the chaos of city streets and the quiet introspection that came in moments alone. The experience was both grounding and disorienting, as I navigated unfamiliar cultures, languages, and landscapes.
The images in this series are accompanied by diary entries—fragments of thought captured in the midst of everyday life. Together, they form a visual and written reflection of that period: the humid air, the subtle rituals of daily rhythm, the people I met, and the sense of being both a part of and apart from the world around me.
It became less about documenting a place, and more about understanding my place within it.
